If the company decides to cancel the service, the customer will be offered a refund. Customers have 28 days to claim a refund after the service is due to take place. This does apply to online courses.
A customer cannot claim a refund if he does not attend a course for which he has paid.
The Customer cannot claim a refund for services that the Company cannot perform due to circumstances beyond the Company’s control such as strikes, natural disasters, storms, war, terrorism, or others.
The customer cannot get a part of the price refunded even if he cannot use all the services that the customer has purchased. It applies to just making it to the second day of a two-day course, arriving late for a private lesson or course.
A customer cannot receive a refund if he cancels a service less than 12 hours in advance.
The customer can, within 14 days of completing the purchase of the company’s services, cancel the transaction and request a refund cf. Article 8 Act no. 46/2000 on door-to-door and distance sales contracts. However, that right expires and the customer has no right to a refund under any circumstances if the service (other than an online course) is held (based on the time it starts) within 14 days of purchase cf. Article 10 Act no. 46/2000 on door-to-door and distance sales contracts. It does not apply to online courses. The customer is considered to have lost his right to a refund for an online course cf. Article 8 Act no. 46/2000, he has logged in to the company’s website.
As far as online courses are concerned, the customer is considered to have used the service when he logs in to the course’s internal website.
Access to courses, online courses, private lessons, or lectures may not be resold for financial gain. Should this be the case, the company reserves the right to invalidate the access of the customer who purchased the service from the company.
